Photovoltaic (pv) solar panel roof of 10 kWatts anchored above counterweights at Athens

This system consists of 40 photovoltaic (pv) panels (250W each) and a DC/AC three-phase inverter. We were asked to consider mounting the photovoltaic (pv) aluminum base  on counterweights to prevent the existing insulation from being drilled. A special static load design and simulation of seismic vibrations were carried out. The photovoltaic weights were manufactured from reinforced concrete and dimensioned according to the design.

Project location: Chalandri, Athens, Greece
