Choose an electric water heater with a capacity proportional to your needs and adjust the thermostat to 40-50οC. If possible, replace the electric one with a solar water heater, achieving great power savings.
• Turn on the water heater when there is need of hot water (usually it doesn’t take more than 30 minutes). If you forget to turn off the heater, the heated water starts to cool and the lost heat is transfered to the environment.
